Communications Resources
The communications department works to create connection points for the congregations and people of the Diocese of North Carolina, using vehicles such as diocesan publications, newsletters, social media, the diocesan website and more. The goal is to share the stories of ministry happening across the Diocese, along with insights and inspiration on how those ministries develop, and resources to help you make your own ministry happen.
The communications team also oversees the diocesan communicators network, a peer network of all who help with communications at the parish level.
The communications team serves as a resource for congregations as well, providing one-on-one consults with church leadership to address individual concerns and needs, and to assist with the development of tools, plans and resources to improve parish communications.
Last but not least, the communications team serves as a resource and point of contact to those outside the diocese, including members of the media, members of other dioceses and The Episcopal Church, those with general inquiries and collaborative partners.
