The Diocese Welcomes the Rev. Valerie J. Mayo

The diocese welcomes the Rev. Valerie J. Mayo as the new rector of St. Titus', Durham. She most recently served as the director for beloved community initiatives at the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. Prior to serving at Seminary of the Southwest, Mayo served as urban missioner in the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky. Mayo earned her undergraduate degree from St. Paul's College, her M.Th from Duke Divinity School and her M.DIv. from Virginia Theological Seminary. We welcome Mayo and her family to North Carolina!
