The Diocese Gives Thanks for the Ministry of the Rev. Marion Sprott

The Diocese gives thanks for the ministry of the Rev. Marion Sprott, rector of The Advocate, Chapel Hill. She has also served as Chair of the Commission on Ministry for the Priesthood. Sprott has served as the rector of the Advocate since 2021. She departs to become the Transition Ministry Officer for the diocese where she begins June 10.

O heavenly Father, Shepherd of thy people, we give thee thanks for thy servant Marion, who was faithful in the care and nurture of thy flock; and we pray that, following her example and the teaching of her holy life, we may by thy grace grow into the stature of the fullness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
