The Diocese Welcomes the Rev. Les Carpenter as Rector of St. Andrew’s, Rocky Mount
The diocese welcomes the Rev. Les Carpenter, who has accepted a call as rector of St. Andrew’s, Rocky Mount. Carpenter comes to the diocese from the Diocese of Texas, where he served as the rector of St. Aiden’s, Cypress. Carpenter has served the church in Indiana and Illinois prior to his call to Texas. He completed a M.Div. at Seabury-Western and also holds a degree in Economics and Religion from The College of William and Mary. Welcome to North Carolina!
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Les that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
