The Diocese Welcomes the Rev. Javier Arias
The Diocese welcomes the Rev. Javier Arias as rector of Christ's Beloved Community/Comunidad Amada de Cristo, Winston-Salem. Christ's Beloved Community is a bilingual community jointly founded by the North Carolina Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina.
Arias most recently served as assistant rector at St. Bede's, Santa Fe in the Episcopal Diocese of the Rio Grande. We welcome Arias and his wife to Winston-Salem and the Diocese.
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Javier, that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
