The Diocese Welcomes the Rev. Catherine Connolly
The Diocese welcomes the Rev. Catherine Connolly as the associate rector at Holy Comforter, Charlotte. Connolly joins Holy Comforter after serving in Ipswitch, England, where she has served as curate. She studied English literature at Anglia Ruskin University (B.A. Hons), followed by training for ordination at Cuddesdon, Oxford, during which she completed a degree in theology (University of Oxford, B.A. Hons). She completed an M.A. in theology, ministry and mission (Durham University), while developing her ministry as a curate in Ipswich. Her passions in life include music, reading, photography, writing poetry, seeing the beauty in small things, and spending time with friends and family. We welcome Connolly and her husband, Lewis, to North Carolina!
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Cat, that with patience and understanding she may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
