The Diocese Gives Thanks for the Ministry of Leah Dail

Jul 29, 2026 | Formation, Youth

Leah Dail, who served faithfully as the assistant youth missioner in the Diocese of North Carolina since 2019, has concluded her service to the diocesan staff and returned to parish ministry. Her last day on diocesan staff was July 28, and she will serve as the assistant for children, youth and intergenerational formation at Holy Comforter, Burlington, starting on August 1.

“I am grateful for Leah’s service on diocesan staff, especially with youth and youth ministers in our congregations,” said the Rev. Kelly Ryan, canon missioner for discipleship. “Leah lives the baptismal covenant pledge to respect the dignity of every human being, and she is passionate about preparing young disciples to pursue justice and peace. I am delighted she will share her gifts with Holy Comforter, and we will be praying for her in this season of her ministry.”

Please join diocesan staff in offering prayers of thanksgiving for Dail’s ministry and for God’s blessing upon this next chapter.
